This week we lead on the news that Liskeard’s Luxstowe House site is to be one of the locations for a major new 750 unit extra care housing scheme in Cornwall. The listed building will be protected, though, says Cornwall Councillor Sally Hawken – and the staff that currently work on the campus will stay in Liskeard.

There’s also been positive news on a major investment in the Cattle Market transformation – and further Cornwall Council money will be coming Liskeard’s way as part of targeted efforts to address areas that have missed out on other streams of funding.

Meanwhile the Town Forum is asking businesses and groups to tell them how they’ve fared during lockdown and what initiatives they’ll take through into the future.
