Bob Roseveare and Kevin Brosnan, both of Liskeard, completed a trolley dash in style recently after taking top prizes in a draw run by Liskeard Constitutional club.

The pair each won a dash and grab at Somerfield's Liskeard store, and both 'snatched' from the shelves goods worth over £100. Their 'run' around the store took place at 8pm on January 8 - the dash starting and finishing with a whistle from the Constitutional club's senior steward, Alan Mayne, who is an ex referee.

Bob grabbed a 20lb turkey, amongst all the other items, and he gave this back to the club to raffle for the Children's Hospice South West, which is its charity for 2000.

The club's Millennium draw comprised 24 prizes for every hour of New Year's Day.
