Liskeard Judo Club welcomed their new coach Richard Eslick and celebrated wins at the recent Cornwall closed championships held at Newquay.

From the club's 15 members, nine came away with medals.

Results for the club were as follows: Girls: U44kg gold Cassie Rowe, silver Amy Edwards, bronze Georgina Cooper. U32kg silver Tamsin Job. Over 52kg silver Kimberly Keeble. Boys: U30kg silver Lewis Keeble, U34kg bronze Adam Whittington, U38kg silver Adam Bainbridge, U42kg bronze Calum Campbell.
