Liskeard School U16 Boys travelled to Cornwall College to contest the county football final against Richard Lander School.

The first 15 minutes were very even as each side attempted to gain a foothold in the match. As space appeared and both formations became more stretched, the deadlock was eventually broken with a cool and calculated side foot finish from Will Tucker.

The Liskeard boys then gained further control by scoring a sublime team goal involving a series of one-twos starting from deep in their own half and being scored by James Lorenz.

Further goals from Tyler Walsh and a headed goal into the top corner by Sam Humagain left the goalkeeper stranded to complete a convincing 4-0 win.
