Looe residents braved cold temperatures to watch the town's annual lantern parade.
This year's parade had to be postponed earlier this month because of poor weather and when it finally did take place, the route had to be changed to avoid icy conditions.
Usually three processions, which start from West Looe Square, the Millpool and The Globe, converge on the town's bridge before heading to East Looe, but this year the procession from the Millpool had to be moved.
Local groups and individuals proudly paraded their colourful Christmas-themed lanterns through the streets in front of scores of spectators before enjoying a concert led, for the last time, by the Rev Brian McQuillen.
Looe mayor Jimmy Dingle said: 'It was quite an emotional affair being the last one overseen by Rev McQuillen. He will certainly be a hard act to follow when he leaves next year; he is clearly held in great affection by the people of Looe.'
Looe town clerk Anne Frith said: 'The lantern procession went very well despite the weather, change of date and having to cancel the normal procession from the Millpool. There probably weren't as many people there, but it was still a success and the soup supplied by SECTA was very welcome.'
