The Eden Project’s Festival of Light and Sound, featuring a laser show by artist Chris Levine and soundscapes by musicians Robert Del Naja and Nick Mulvey, opened yesterday evening.
Festival of Light and Sound will see laser beams projected high above the outdoor gardens and the Mediterranean Biome will be filled with patterns of light and 3D immersive sound.
The focus this year is on the interplay between light and Eden’s exotic plant life and landscape.
Robert Del Naja (Massive Attack) and Euan Dickinson, have worked alongside Mercury Prize nominated singer song-writer Nick Mulvey and top spatial audio artists and designers Dave Clayton and Marco Perry (Bjork) to create an original soundscape.
Festival of Light and Sound will be taking place on selected nights until December 30.
