IN this week’s Cornish Times, in shops from today (Friday) we lead with confirmation from South East Cornwall MP Sheryll Murray that she intends voting against the Government’s proposed Brexit deal with the EU in the House of Commons.
Her explains to us her reasons for going against Prime Minister Theresa May’s compromise plan.
However, in another development we report that Cornwall Councillors have voted to support a ‘People’s Vote’ campaign for a second referendum – with calls also being made for Cornwall to retain strong ties with Europe.
