THE Heritage Pub Company has announced that the Jubilee Pub in Torpoint is the regional winner of their Heritage in Bloom Competition. The contest, run in conjunction with Coors Brewers, has seen pub tenants competing for the Best Flower Boxes across the 240 tenancies in the region. The judging panel, consisting of Heritage Pub Company Directors, as well as representatives from Coors Brewers, visited every shortlisted outlet to find the overall regional winner. John O Neill, Heritage Managing Director who was on the judging panel, said: 'We are delighted to award the Bill for outstanding effort made to decorate the outside of the Jubilee. Tenants are crucial to the success of the business and Heritage in Bloom demonstrates how we aim to recognise their achievements.' Bill Ferguson is the tenant at the Jubilee on Fore Street and he received a cheque for £200 and a certificate confirming the prize as a regional winner of the Heritage in Bloom competition.
