Liskeard created enough opportunities to have won this match with ease but with Parkway finishing so strongly were struggling to hang onto their point. "We didn't play well" conceded a disappointed Blues boss Chris Burchell.

It was from a Bradley Swiggs set up that Liskeard's Mark Skerton had a shot blocked by visiting 'keeper Andy Gammon in the 14th minute. Then Andy Bowker beat the offside and racing into the penalty box his cross into the danger area failed to pick out a colleague and the chance was lost.

A centre from Dean Tongue caused problems at the back post but somehow Gammon managed to deflect the ball away from Skirton.

In the 28th minute it was Parkway's turn to threaten with Mark Henwood denying Ryan Lawson and later Ian Revell.

Before the break Skirton was denied by the bar. Liskeard continued to menace early in the second half with Lee Beer having a shot blocked and then no one managed to get hold of a cross from Barker.

Liskeard pressure finally paid off although it was a bizarre goal which gave Liskeard the lead. Bowker and Revell tackled for the ball and it looped over Gammon and into the net. Bowker claimed the final touch.

Liskeard switched off soon after feeling no doubt that they had done enough but Parkway surprised their hosts equalising when Dave Crawford hooked in a corner from Dave Waters. Liskeard survived a couple of other scares before the ref brought exchanges to a close.
