Callington were made to pay for their missed chances as visitors Launceston grabbed three goals and three points to take them off the bottom of the league at Ginsters Marshfield Parc on Saturday.
Alan Yendell hit the bar in the opening two minutes but from the next attack Liam Tilley flicked the ball past Wayne Wormold in the Town goal for the opener.
Callington enjoyed their fair share of chances in the first period with Gary Smith and Kevin Russell both missing good opportunities but they failed to break through and the visitors went further ahead five minutes from the break when Sean Turner fired a shot past Wormold while the Town players were still appealing for a penalty at the opposite end.
Launceston increased their lead on 70 minutes when Turner latched onto a great through ball from Yendell to beat Wormold to secure the points for the Clarets.
