The Archives and Cornish Studies Service is holding free family cartoon workshops inspired by Cornwall’s inventors.

Led by Dandy/Beano cartoonist, Nick Brennan, participants in the workshops will create their own creation or inventor inspired by historical anecdotes about Cornwall’s scientists and engineers, and material on display from the Service’s archive collections including letters from Richard Trevithick (pictured) and Humphry Davy.

The workshops take place at the Cornish Studies Library, Alma Place, Redruth on Saturday June 17 at 11am, 12pm and 1pm. For more information, phone 01209 216 760.
