Pensilva's youngsters recorded a superb victory over a strong Biscovey team in their first outing of the campaign. The visitors took the lead on 12 minutes when some sloppy defending led to a shot from a

Biscovey winger which gave Pens goalkeeper Joe Coates no chance.

The hosts hit back five minutes later when some fine individual skill from Jake Horton finished with him unleashing an unstoppable shot in to the top corner.

However, the Pens found themselves behind again, just before the break. Pensilva manager Tony Rogers rang the changes in his defence for the second period, which seemed to stop any danger from the visiting attack.

Aaron England, Ryan Renfree, Dylan Peel and Jake Fursman were all superb and, when he was called upon, were backed up by Sam Rogers who went in goal for the second half.  Pensilva always looked dangerous going forward and netted a deserved equaliser on 56 minutes.

A brilliant break from midfield by Jarrad Woods, who skinned a number of Biscovey players before crossing in to the box, caused mayhem and a Biscovey player put the ball in his own net.

And the winning goal arrived seven minutes later, when a great free-kick from Dominic Buck was headed home by Horton.

The midfield of Jack Penaligan, Woods, Arron Lane and Matt Vincent kept creating chances and worked hard until the final whistle.

Rogers was very impressed with his team, who played very well against a Biscovey outfit who where runners-up in the league above the Pens last term.
