HMS Raleigh commanding officer leaves base in Cornwall sitting on field gun limber

The commanding officer of HMS Raleigh, Captain Ellie Ablett, has left the naval training establishment in Torpoint after being promoted to the rank of commodore.

Staff and trainees lined the route as Captain Ablett made her departure sitting on a field gun limber being pulled by members of HMS Raleigh’s field gun crew.
