Cornwall road closures: more than a dozen for motorists to avoid over the next fortnightSt Petroc’s Society winter appeal is asking for donations of good quality items such as blankets and bedding, sleeping bags, warm clothing, waterproofs, underwear, shoes, tinned and dried food, and toiletries.
To help reduce the suffering that comes with homelessness, FOLK2FOLK is encouraging people across local communities in East Cornwall to donate these every-day items at its newly relocated Launceston branch that now sits within the main headquarters on Western Road. Donations will be accepted during office hours of Monday – Friday 9am – 4.30pm.
The expanded headquarters will also feature FOLK2FOLK’s new South West Hub.
The Hub will provide a free co-working space for travelling or local business professionals to work with free wifi and refreshments. The Hub will also be available as a free-to-hire community space for local businesses and people to use for networking events and other meetings that help encourage socially and financially successful local communities. The Hub will be opening in January with more details on the launch to follow.
