A forum to support unpaid carers will meet in Liskeard on February 13.

Run by the Kernow Carers Service (part of Cornwall Rural Community Charity), the forum is a free service for unpaid carers which gives them an opportunity to discuss the issues they face and have their voices heard in a welcoming and confidential environment, with others facing similar problems. 

Staff from Kernow Carers Service will be at the meetings to give help and advice to carers, including making referrals to Carer Support Workers (CSWs) who work with individuals to help them with any issues they have and signposting to benefits and services. 

The Carers Forum meeting in Liskeard will be held at Liskerret Community Centre Varley Lane Liskeard on Wednesday, February 13 from 1pm to 3pm.  All carers are welcome and expenses will be considered to enable them to attend.
