Staff from Peninsula Community Health will be taking to the stage again next month by attending the National NHS Leadership Recognition Awards.
Since taking home half of the available awards up for grabs at the glittering ceremony in Bristol in November, winners have been invited back by the NHS Leadership Academy and are nominated for the national awards which take place on March 8 at Senate House, London.
The regional ceremony, which was hosted by Alan Johnson MP, was attended by many inspirational NHS staff members, all there to be recognised for their amazing achievements and commitment to patients, service users and the NHS.
Out of the 8 awards at the regional awards, Peninsula Community Health won 4:
NHS Emerging Leader of the Year – Lucy Clement, District Nurse Manager, Peninsula Community Health.
NHS Mentor/Coach of the Year – Andy Shaw, Clinical Facilitator for Acute and Complex Care in the Community, Peninsula Community Health.
NHS Innovator of the Year – Naomi Campbell, Hydration Lead Nurse, Peninsula Community Health
NHS Inspirational Leader of the Year – joint winners: Joanne Beer, Interim Director of Operations, Nursing and Allied Health Professionals, Peninsula Community Health and Professor Greg Dix, Director of Nursing, Plymouth Hospitals NHS Trust.
