The Rame Group GPs’ practice has won grant funding to hold support groups for people with low mood and anxiety. 

GPs from the Millbrook practice submitted the project for a Healthy Communities Grant from Assura, the specialist property company which looks after their medical centre building. Practices working in the company’s 550 buildings around the country were invited to put forward schemes which made a difference to health for their patients.

Community Health Around Torpoint ‘CHAT’ is now working with people across the Rame Peninsula, including Torpoint, and providing a weekly course followed by a monthly meeting for those suffering from low mood, anxiety and depression.
