Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust children’s wards have received a special gift, donated by the Children’s Happy Hospital Fund (CHHF).

A model rabbit, which is used to show children exactly how bloods are taken and cannulas are fitted, along with the possibility of having IV fluids, has been received by the Play Specialist Team. The model can be used by the children to take a ‘blood test’ and also insert fluids, in a fun, non-threatening way.
