Cornwall Council’s Carer Parking Permit scheme is to be extended to district nurses.
The scheme allows carers, and now district nurses, to park on double yellow lines whilst supporting clients in the own home.
The trial scheme which was due to finish at the end of March has proven to be a great success. Virus permitting, staff are working to produce new permits as quickly as possible and in the interim the old passes will be recognised by officers until the new permits are released.
