A GENEROUS blood donor who has been attending sessions since 1964 has given her 100th pint.
Barbara Bennett, who lives in Pensilva, has only had to miss a handful of sessions in the 53 years since she began giving blood.
The 76 year old has kept all the certificates she received up until 1999, when the NHS Blood and Transplant organisation stopped giving them out.
Barbara is particularly proud of her 10th and 25th donation badges as these older badges include the royal crown - and she is looking forward to receiving the badge for her 100th donation at an upcoming ceremony.
