St Mellion International Resort has scooped two awards at the Crown Golf annual conference. The resort, which hosted the event, came top out of all Crown Golf resorts in the country in the Food and Beverage Team of the Year category and the Food and Beverage Health and Safety Compliance category.

St Mellion International Resort recently underwent a £20m redevelopment which included a revamp of the restaurant and catering facilities. St Mellion Internal Resort director, Stephen Towers, commented: 'We're delighted that the hard work of our food and beverage team has been recognised.

'It is clear that the development of the team as well as our policy of using the finest South West produce is continuing to ensure our guests have a wonderful experience.'
