A young cricketer from Liskeard, who is raising money to go on a tour of South Africa, has received a £100 donation from Liskeard Town Council. George Hyslop needs a total of £1,400 in order to go on the two-week tour with the Cornwall under-13 cricket team. The 12-year-old was presented with the cheque from Liskeard Mayor Tony Powell last week, in recognition of his dedication to Liskeard Cricket Club.
