A great-great-grandmother has been celebrating the birth of her great-great-granddaughter Lily Ann, whose birth marks five generations of females in the same family.

Proud Ena, 96, who lives at a residential home in Polbathic, and her daughter Judith, 63, from Liskeard, were delighted to meet the latest addition to their extended family spanning five generations who have all had daughters. Ena was born in Devon, and spent more than 60 years living in Cornwall after moving to the Duchy when Judith was a baby.
