The easterly wind and sunshine made for ideal conditions in Looe Bay last weekend.

Firefighter Gareth Shaw, aboard his Laser Cinders turned on the style to take top spot before heading up the M5 to Weston-Super-Mare to join Blue Watch for the night shift.

Despite pushing the leader over the six-mile course, Peter Greenwood had to settle for silver spot.

The Crabb brothers, Ben and John, rode the waves to victory in the Redwing Class, closely followed by artiste Richard Vasey and Jake Gavin aboard Rosewing.
