Two beautiful gardens will open this weekend in support of Cornwall Hospice Care.
Opening to the public this Sunday (July 15) as part of Cornwall Hospice Care’s Open Gardens scheme is Kircumb, a private level garden with a variety of shrubs, climbers and boarders.
Statues and sculptures can be seen throughout the garden, and two small ponds are abundant with fish.
Kircumb, in Roseland, near Liskeard, is a tranquil haven set in a beautiful wooded valley, and will be open on Sunday from 10am - 4pm.
Cream teas will be available and plants for sale. Dogs on leads are welcome.
Also opening its gates to the public this Sunday (2pm-5pm) is Glenmore, at Penwithick, near St Austell. This mature but evolving garden features four sections of different interests with lawns, trees, shrubs and wide herbaceous borders.
Details of all the gardens in the scheme are in the Open Gardens guide, which is available from all Cornwall Hospice Care shops, most garden centres and tourist information centres.
It is also available to download from the events page of the Cornwall Hospice Care website: www.cornwallhospicecare.co.uk
