Motorists using the Torpoint Ferry service will face a few more days of delay.

The Plym II was due to have come back into operation last week after a refit.

Having first had to announce that the third ferry would return to the town early this week, Tamar Crossings management has now informed customers that it is likely to be next Friday (November 16) before the vessel is back in action.

’This further short delay is regretted, but many of the issues and constraints on progress have been outside the control of either A&P Falmouth or ourselves,’ said Ferry Manager David List.

’Everyone is working extremely hard to return the ferry to service as soon as possible.’
