Furry and feather . .

A sunshine weekend and a week of summer weather brought out the best in everyone - including furry dancers at St Cleer and feathery champions at the Liskeard Show.

This year's show was what everyone hopes for every year - warm, sunny and packed with happy crowds enjoying the farming highlight of the year.

Although entries were down in many of the classes the organisers were pleased with the gate entries

One happy lady who went home with a first prize was Dawn Channings of Polperro, pictured left with her white silkie hen. She won a first in class, best in breed and gained an award from the Silkie Club as well.
