The former owner of a Liskeard restaurant has gone on-line for his latest project, which he hopes will benefit those offering hospitality in the area.

Mike Green, who used to own and run The Bacchus Bistro, has set up a new interactive on-line hospitality guide which enables visitors to view outlets in the local area, and throughout the country, and read independent consumer reviews about them.

LimeGuide.com, which already includes information on over 2,000 restaurants, hotels, guest houses and pubs in many towns throughout the UK, is offering free entry to eating establishments in the West Country.

Mike, now of Wales, said any restaurant, hotel or hospitality establishment is eligible for free sign-up. Mike described the guide as being truly interactive. He said: 'I have very fond memories of living and working in Liskeard. It gave me a chance to prove myself as a chef and restaurateur, and opened up a few doors for me, allowing me to get on with this latest project.'
