Liskeard Short Mat Bowls club has recently held a friendly meeting with Saltash Wesley.

Sheila Hodge was the winner of the September bowls drive, and the October winner was Phil Thomas. Congratulations have gone to Peter Spargo for being September's club night winner and Carol Cummins who won it in October.

A busy time is starting for the club who have entered into the Altarnun autumn shield and with league and county competitions. The club meets every Wednesday and Sunday at the Morley Tamblyn Lodge, from 7pm to 10pm. New members are always welcome - for further details please call 01579 342765.
