Cornwall Council is offering free parking in towns on selected days in the run-up to Christmas.
All Cornwall Council car parks are clearly branded and the Council will be displaying posters about the parking offer at charging points on the day when parking is free.
Bodmin and Liskeard will be among the first towns to offer free parking on November 30 at Berrycombe Road, Dennison Road, Fore Street and Victoria Square, Bodmin and in Liskeard at Cattle Market, Upper and Lower Sungirt, Rapsons and Westbourne. Liskeard Town Council is providing additional free parking on December 7, 14 and 21. December 7 sees free parking at New Road (north and south) in Callington; Fowey’s Caffa Mill and main car park to coincide with the Christmas Market and Looe’s Riverbank, Millpool and Kilminorth parks.
Saltash will be offering free parking on December 21 at Alexandra Square, Bellevue West and East and Culver Road. The same day Torpoint will have free parking in Anthony Road and Tamar Street.
For those wanting to take advantage of Truro’s free parking it will be on November 30 and include the Park and Ride.
