For the best part of the opening 20 minutes, the visitors were able to create some good openings but wasted all the chances which resulted. Sticker took the lead after a period of pressure, with Darren Hore managing to outstrip Dane Bunney for pace and ran half the length of the field to score
Launceston pushed Duncan Barriball on further down the right and that helped them to create more chances. However, this led to more frustration as time and time again they squandered those chances despite spending 44 minutes of the second half in the Sticker half.
This was just one of those days for Launceston, and they will have to live with that. Man of the match was Duncan Barriball.
