This was a frustrating game for Pelynt, who did enough to win but eventually fell to a late strike.
Pelynt's best opportunity came after 25 minutes from the penalty spot when Trevor Wisker was tripped in the box. However, Andy Giles' well-taken kick was matched by an even better save.
Clear-cut chances were few and far between but Pelynt had the better possession and always looked capable of scoring, Robbie Petrie having a great chance in the second half when he saw his lob just clear the bar. Ollie Whiting had a close-range shot parried by the 'keeper, who managed to recover to make a miraculous save from Wisker's rebound effort which span onto the post and away to safety. At the other end, Giles headed off the line and this keenly-fought contest seemed to be heading for a goalless outcome but Foxhole grabbed the winner from a swift counter-attack with 15 minutes left.
