Pensilva visited Calstock and started brightly with a few early chances in a scrappy opening 20 minutes, with neither team really taking charge.
A long ball over the top from the Calstock 'keeper was misjudged in the air by the normally reliable Skews resulting in Mortamore shooting past Rich Rendle. Calstock started to take control and it was a mistake by Skews which let Mortimore in to score his and Calstock's second. He wrapped his hat-trick up just before half-time when Pensilva's man of the match Colin Treeby was intercepted whilst running towards his own goal with the ball.
After a deserved verbal bashing from manager Miller, Pensilva came out in the second half looking a stronger side but it wasn't until super-sub Mike Rundle came on that they made it count. His first touch off a free-kick saw his header power in at the far post and it wasn't long after when put through by Miles that Rendle made it 3-2. With about 10 minutes to go, Pensilva were pressing forward again and it was their powerhouse Stuart Timms who was clumsily brought down in the area and Treeby mis-hit the resulting penalty to level scores. Pensilva had a chance to win it at the death when Miles blasted over from six yards. The final result was a fair reflection on the game with Pensilva showing what battling skills they have.
