New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Cornwall’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

Mermaid Inn, a pub, bar or nightclub at Alexandra Road, Newquay, Cornwall was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on March 18.

And Spicy Dragon, a takeaway at 40 Grove Road, St Austell, Cornwall was also given a score of four on March 18.
