A project teaching free food foraging and cookery skills to local people on low incomes is appealing for support to continue its work. The Free Food Forever courses are run by the Rame Peninsula-based Family Foraging Kitchen. The sessions have enabled many people to learn which fresh foods can be harvested without cost from woodlands, beaches and hedgerows – and how to prepare delicious meals with the ingredients sourced outdoors. Project While the project was kick-started in 2015 by an Appetite for Change Award for Social Enterprise, Family Foraging Kitchen is now appealing for donations to help provide further courses for people experiencing food poverty.
