No less than five Chelsea Flower Show gold medal winners will be among the exhibitors that will be vying for the limelight in the Flower Show at this year’s Royal Cornwall Show.

All of those participating will have an eye on a prize for their display, says section chairman Kenneth Willcock.

Palms Exotics, Kelnan Plants, Mendip Bonsai Studio, Hewitt-Cooper Carnivorous Plants and Burncoose Nurseries all secured Chelsea golds. They will all now turn their attentions to competing at Cornwall’s largest event.

Floral art entries are well up on last year’s number, with strong entries in all competitive classes.
