One fire appliance from Saltash responded to a 999 call this afternoon (Tuesday) after a concerned member of the public reported smoke in woodland near the Saltash Tunnel.
The crew located an unattended bonfire near Adit Lane.
They extinguished the fire using one hosereel jet.
