A brand-new Young Farmers Festival will launch on May 2.

The inaugural four-day event will include a unique world record attempt for the furthest throw of a hay bale, competitions and headline DJ sets from BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, Scott Mills and Chris Stark.

With cash prizes and rugby premiership final tickets up for grabs, the festival aims to bring young farmers and rural communities together for a fun-filled weekend.

An agricultural take on popular TV shows, such as ‘Farming’s Take Me Out’, ‘Farming’s Got Talent’ and ‘Farmers Apprentice’ will see visitors compete for dates and recognition of talent in entertainment and business.
