Caradon avenged the 5-4 defeat they suffered on the Duchy team's turf earlier in the season with this victory over their high-flying opponents at Lux Park.
Toby Riddle pulled off some great saves early on to keep the hosts in the game.
However, it was the visitors who took the lead with a slick short corner routine.
But Caradon were level on the half-hour mark through a successful short corner of their own. The initial strike from Leon Farrow was saved, but Martin Batty was on hand to tuck the ball away smartly.
The home side started the second period the more aggressive, pushing men forward at every opportunity – but this left gaps in the middle of the park. Josh Terry tracked back well to cover an injured Paul Foster, while Rapper Tamblyn ran his heart out in midfield.
With ten minutes left, some fine inter-play between Farrow and Luke Jeffery earned
a short corner. A sharp injection from Batty gave Farrow time to get his shot off cleanly; it was saved by the Duchy keeper, but Farrow made no mistake with his second attempt to secure the points.
Caradon are in action again tomorrow when they make the trip to table-topping Bude.
