Farm charity, Addington Fund, has awarded two of its 2017 Cornwall Farm Business Awards to South East Cornwall.

The event, which aims to highlight the region’s most outstanding farm businesses, saw an unprecedented number, and quality, of nominations this year.

Best Farm Processor, sponsored by Robinson Reed Layton, was The Cornish Cheese Co Ltd, of Knowle Farm, Upton Cross, and Best Young Farmer, sponsored by NatWest, was Robert Halliday, of Cornish Valley Farming, Tremeer Farm, Pensilva.

The Woman in Farming award, sponsored by Worldwide Financial Planning, went to Mel Squires, NFU Regional Director.
