A moderate north-easterly wind out of Millendreath Valley caused both agony and ecstacy across the fleet in Looe Bay on Saturday.

The leaders in most classes sailed into a hole and were left tearing their hair out as the rest of the fleet sailed by.

Billy and Amber Palfrey led for most of the race in the Mirror class, only to be passed by Esther Bowdler and Austin Rudd, who took first spot, followed by Daisy Jaycock and Annabelle Pengelly in third.
