A CHURCH that likes to get out and interact with its community outdoors held an equestrian service.

The congregation were delighted to see seven horses and their riders arrive to take part in the service in Pelynt — and rector of the Trelawny Benefice the Reverend Richard Allen came well prepared with a big bag of carrots, which were thoroughly appreciated!

Rev Allen spoke about the food eaten by horses and the importance of the spiritual nourishment we receive from Jesus.
