PEOPLE in the Caradon Community Network area can learn about the latest stage of the Cornwall Council electoral review at a meeting on July 6.
As well as the electoral review, the Caradon Community Network Panel will discuss policing, neighbourhood planning and the Community Infrastructure Levy which allows local authorities to raise money from developers.
There will be updates from local Cornwall councillors and a chance for members of the public to speak.
As this is the annual general meeting, the panel will also elect a chair for the next 12 months.
The Panel meets every two months to discuss matters that affect the Caradon area and agree priorities that can be delivered by Cornwall Council and partners such as the police and health services.
Some of the areas community networks focus on include anti-social behaviour, economic development, the environment, community planning, regeneration, conservation, community safety, transport and highway issues.
Caradon’s panel includes all five Cornwall Councillors for the area and representatives from Callington, Calstock, Linkinhorne, Pillaton, South Hill, St Dominick, St Ive, St Mellion and Stoke Climsland.
The meeting takes place from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Millennium House in Pensilva.
The agenda and more information about the panel are available on www.cornwall.gov.uk/caradoncna.
The meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome.
