Pupils have been digesting the finer points of providing afternoon tea. Year 10 GCSE catering students from Saltash.net community school went along to the St Mellion International Resort to sample sandwiches and cakes. The visit was arranged by teacher Rachel Noble, who wanted to give her catering classes first-hand experience of an afternoon tea before they prepared their own tea as part of their coursework.
