STUDENTS from Caradon Acorn Academy put their their work on display in an exhibition last week.

The show of Art and DT work by last year’s Year 11 students was open to the public at Stuart House in Liskeard.

The Academy also hosted a private viewing for staff, last year’s students and parents in celebration of all the hard work. 

Ryan Coe was presented with the Charlie Alford Award, named in memory of a late former pupil.

Ryan was the school’s first head boy and was responsible for influencing positive behaviour.

Ryan was also given the award for the efforts and ability he displayed in Art and Design, particularly his ability with the potter’s wheel.
