CHILDREN from three primary schools teamed up to take on the bike trails at Lanhydrock. Pupils from St Cleer, Upton Cross and Dobwalls cycled the green and blue routes at the National Trust estate.

The bike trails are suitable for riders of all abilities and they also have a skills section to practise off road cycling.

PE teacher and mountain bike instructor Oli Jones said: ‘The children and adults had a fantastic time testing out their bike skills on these trails.

‘The good thing is that all the  routes are  purpose-built for cycling and running and they are free to use. It was so much fun.’
