Plans to regenerate the outdoor space at Altarnun Primary School came to fruition when the community joined forces at the school’s annual Big Dig.

Principal Kristina Harrison said: ‘We now have a poly-tunnel, a kitchen garden, colourful benches and planters, a sensory garden, the start of an orchard and wild meadow, a Class 1 growing area and, most importantly, some exciting learning opportunities for the children.’
