Corserv is holding an event tomorrow for those thinking about starting an apprenticeship.

If you are interested in learning new skills, keen to continue your education, wanting to earn while you train, or do all three at the same time, go along to Chy Trevail, Bodmin and speak to the Corserv team tomorrow (Tuesday) between 12 noon and 6pm.

There will be a series of workshops on interview techniques and CV writing, talks on the apprenticeships available, the chance to speak to managers who have progressed their careers by gaining qualifications and the chance to mix with some of the currently 67 apprentices.

As one of the largest employers in the Duchy, Corserv offers apprenticeships in a wide range of areas, such as leadership and management, business and administration, care, finance, highways and environment, civil engineering and many more.

The apprenticeships are based across Cornwall and are permanent contracts and there are no age limits to become an apprentice. You could start on a level 2 apprenticeship this year and have a level 6 master’s degree in up to six years’ time.

Corserv is a diverse group of businesses, including Cormac, Cornwall Airport Newquay, Cornwall Housing and Cornwall Development Company. These are all brought together with shared business support functions including human resources, legal, finance, procurement, IT and marketing communications.
