CHILDREN from Looe Primary School will be taking over for a day at Looe Museum.

The youngsters, from Year 6, will be running the museum for the day on Friday (November 17), and will be participating in historical activities in the museum’s old jail cells.

Pupils will also be helping out in the nearby Lifeboat Station on the same day.

A spokesperson for Looe Primary Academy said: ‘This is a fabulous opportunity to show the great community links here and to highlight Looe’s local history.

‘The curator of Looe museum, Petra Stevenson, has been amazing in organising and allowing us to do this day.’
