The Eden Project is closing its doors for one day on Sunday June 2 to encourage people to join in and support The Big Lunch.

The Big Lunch, Eden’s biggest outreach programme, is about millions of people getting together to share food, have fun and get to know each other better. The Big Lunch is made possible by The National Lottery and more than six million people take part each year.

Eden’s bold aim is to bring the country to a stop for a few hours as people come together where they live and enjoy The Big Lunch – building new social connections right across the UK.

Eden Project staff will be encouraged to spend time in their communities and support Big Lunches in their area on June 2.
